La Trinidad in Benguet is a few minutes away from the City of Pines. It is popular for its strawberry field. Now, it is also known for this creatively painted houses in Barangay Balili.
This project is under the Department of Tourism (DOT) Cordillera known as the REV-BLOOM campaign. It aims to promote a more sustainable tourism in the region. The project was derived from the favela paintings in Brazil.
It was painted by the residents themselves and designed by the Tam-awan Village artists.
The main theme of the mural is the sunflower which is still in process and a first project in the country.
You may visit them anytime while there’s still no fee for photographs and selfies 🙂
