The pandemic has hit us really hard. Our businesses were really taken down which in turn affects our health and our strained relationships because of the stresses and fears that this crisis has brought to us.

But this phenomenon should not stop us from doing the things we need to do. More than our business that cheers up and inspires every traveler, we must cheer up and inspire ourselves to reflect in our business as well.

According to Forbes,  ”There are 7 scientifically-proven benefits of gratitude. Gratitude opens the door to more relationships, improves physical health, improves psychological health, enhances empathy and reduces aggression, helps us to sleep better, improves our self-esteem, and increases mental strength.”

This is proven. I have been keeping my gratitude journal even when the pandemic has started and it shifts our way of thinking in a positive way.

And so, even during the pandemic, I am not that bothered and anxious because of my gratitude journal which I also recommend to my mentees, and “The Positive Moment Program” which I am a coach for self-worth overcoming procrastinations, demotivation, and discouraging thoughts.

To give you some of the few that I have written in my journal is that I am blessed with my long-time prayer to conceive and have my baby. On top of that, I am so grateful that despite the long months of the crisis, I and my family has food to eat, shelter to keep us protected, and we are still alive and healthy as of this writing plus the improving and healing nature while at rest so that we can come back promoting tourism improved by nature’s healing and recovery during the pandemic.

Now, Maybe mine can easily be identified and visualized compared to your situation right now. I totally understand if you cannot think of something to be grateful for during this downtime of your life. But here is what you can try to also acquire the benefits of gratitude—try to even see at the small things.

Maybe you are still normally breathing right now? Or the food you enjoyed last week? Or maybe your family is still complete and healthy? Or maybe you can still move both your feet? Not all people have these blessings. You are blessed to have one.

May you continue to receive your blessings,

Coach Tintin
