The ground breaking happened back in 1920 which is 15 years earlier before it was completed in 1936. It miraculously survived the fury of World War II while being set as refuge to Filipino evacuees.
It is also included in every devoted Catholic’s bucket list when they visit Baguio City especially during the yearly known celebration of the Panagbenga Festival (flower festival of Baguio) held during the month of February.
