Cagbalete Island is a must place to visit. It is untouched and many more things yet undiscovered.
Only six kilometers from the town proper and northeast towards the Pacific Ocean. You’ll love here if you’re not just into lavish resorts. Because most of the resorts here are so simple yet, the surrounding is stunning–tranquil turquoise waters, gleaming white sands, serenity seekers can unwind under a tree overlooking sparkling waters, rocky cliffs, coast and more.

This long ridge of white sand is unseen during high tides. We are so blessed we experienced high and low tides for several times in two days.
Going to Cagablete Island, (if you’ll commute), you must ride a boat at the Mauban port going to Sabang Port for about an hour of crossing the sea.

This is the Sabang Port where we need to ride again another boat going to our selected resorts. Travel will take about 30-45 minutes by the sea. You can even see flying fishes while riding the boat and other sea creatures clearly seen along the way. You may also opt to walk the 2-3 kilometers distance that would take a regular person about 2 hours travel time.
This is not always the case. You can hire a private boat and arrange your whole stay in Cagbalete Island less hassle for you, through Enjoy Ka Dito Travels. You may email them at yesenjoykadito@yahoo.com
The Island has so much to offer. Coconut is just anywhere. So me and my travel boss decided to trek around to get fresh coconut from the trees.

This is the core of the fruit when freshly picked. People in Cagbalete Island call it “marosa-rosa” because of its pinkish color. They say, this is the best coconut that can help cure UTI.

Exploring the Island is not composed of beaches and resorts only. There are houses and livelihood in the middle of the forest.

We also went in this place of the forest where a “bukal” flourished. They say that it is safe to drink.
I enjoyed the high and low tide of the sea. It shows and then covers some part of the island that makes it more unique.

During low tide, you can see rocks and corals along the shore. Even roots of mangroves were exposed.
May you receive your blessings,
Tintin
