You know that every time I’m going to see waterfalls, I’m in awe! I’m ecstatic! and I’m excited! And Alitap Falls never failed to make me feel that way. š
Alitap Falls is located at Brgy. Alitap, Mauban, Quezon Province. To reach the waterfalls, you need to ride a boat that will take you to the other side of the island and then ride a motorcycle known as “habal-habal” in their place.

You will pass by this long road (with a nice view of the sunrise) going to a port where a boat is waiting to get us on the other side of the island.

Riding on a “habal-habal“, we passed by and crossed over a rice field throughĀ this long slender road. So just imagine the effort of the driver in balancing us and the pathway. š

We met some locals actually washing their clothes just like the old days. It’s amazing how the people of Mauban were able to preserve nature.

We traversed some boulders and streams again. The trek is slightly difficult but always worth the try.

It took us less than an hour to reach the majestic waterfalls, but our tour guide said that other trekkers would take more than an hour to reach it.
May you receive your blessings,
Tintin
