𝟏. 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐈𝐓𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓

Despite the pandemic that has postponed the Olympics 2020 and trapped Hidilyn to stay in Malaysia, far away from her family, and far away from her native land, She still pushes to train and practice in the condominium where she stayed.

She never gave up. She looked for opportunities to train despite the pandemic limitations. She still works on improving herself with the help of her coach, mentors, and her faith.

When you are committed to better your situation and achieving the things that you want, you will be able to have it. But success is never an overnight event. Only those who decide and take a leap to invest in themselves and do the hard work will make it happen.

𝟐. 𝐂𝐀𝐔𝐒𝐄 She knows what she wants, she knows how she wants it and to whom she is getting it. But most especially, WHY she wants it. Her clear purpose of bringing glory for the country and thinking of representing no other county other than the Philippines is what moved her beyond her limits.

𝟑. 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐄𝐑 Hidilyn has given so much pride not only for the Philippines and for her family but more so for herself. A lot of sponsorships and rewards keep on coming for her but she stayed grounded. She has coaches to guide her and train her. Even champions need other people to get them where they want to go.

Above all, she knows that after putting up her fight, the battle will no longer only be hers but more so, alongside our God Almighty.
